Facebook billionaire donates nearly £29 million to Clinton in bid to keep Trump out of the White House
Dustin Moskovitz pledges money to Hillary's campaign saying she is 'the best choice for America'
A BILLIONAIRE Facebook founder has now increased his donations to Hillary Clinton to nearly £29 million in a bid to keep Trump out of the White House.
Dustin Moskovitz, 32, revealed he was adding to his gift of over £12.3 million ($15 million US) to her campaign, topping it up with a further £16.3 million ($20 million US).
Writing on , he said: "The events of the past few weeks have only deepened my conviction that Hillary is the best choice for America. I hope that these contributions will help make that outcome a reality."
Moskovitz, who is said to be worth £8.7 billion ($10.7 billion US) , spoke out about his views on the site and why he supported Clinton in her bid to become president: "We cannot ignore the remarkable alignment between these two visions for society and the choices in this year’s election.
"The Republican Party, and Donald Trump in particular, is running on a zero-sum vision, stressing a false contest between their constituency and the rest of the world.

"We believe their positions, especially on immigration, which purport to improve the lives of Americans, would in practice hurt citizens and non-citizens alike.
"In contrast, the Democratic Party, and Hillary Clinton in particular, is running on a vision of optimism, pragmatism, inclusiveness and mutual benefit."
Half of this latest donation which he has made with his wife, Cari Tuna, is going to the League of Conservation Voters, as well as a political action committee called For Our Future.
They are not the only Facebook donors to the cause - Chris Hughes, who is worth an estimated £700 million ($850 million US), and his husband Sean Eldridge had a fundraiser at the luxurious apartment in New York's Soho last year.
