THE “loner” teenager at the centre of a probe into a London bomb plot appears to have filmed a video shooting a pistol just two weeks earlier.
A clip has emerged which looks to show poker-loving student Damon Smith holding a mini-glock and saying: “I'm going to shoot my gun”.
Anti-terror officers raided an address in Devon on Saturday where 19-year-old Smith used to live.
Police had tasered and arrested a suspect, 19, in London on Friday after finding a “viable” explosive on an Underground train.
A second suspicious device was discovered at the back of a garage at the Devon address, causing evacuations of nearby properties, on Saturday.
In the video, the high-voiced teen turns the camera to himself while he is holding the gun and wearing sunglasses.
He says: "Hello everyone. I'm going to shoot my gun.
"So, lets shoot it. We'll shoot it one time."
He fires it into a pile of boxes and adds: "Oh, sh*t.
"And I don't know where the cartridge went. It went somewhere.
"And yeah, thanks for watching."
The video ends with him stuffing the gun in his front pocked of his jeans.
The video was uploaded by 'Damon Smith'.
It has also emerged “mummy’s boy” Smith had posted pictures of himself online posing with a replica AK-47.
Friends said he was a martial arts fan who liked online poker.
Former best pal Vincent Jones, also 19, said: “Damon was quite successful at poker. I think that’s how he would fund buying replica weapons.
“He had a Koran and knew several phrases and he wore a black headscarf. Damon had replica guns and air rifles and even posted a video of himself shooting a replica Glock on YouTube.”
Vincent said: “His mum was always quite protective of him because he had learning difficulties. She moved to London with him when he got on an IT course at a London university.”
Detectives are thought to be gathering material on Smith’s trips abroad to Turkey and Egypt.
One 60-second video on Facebook shows him listening to what sounds like a Muslim call to prayer being read out in Istanbul.
He has also posed with huge wads of cash won playing poker
