Three killed in horror crash after van smashed into car – as cops appeal for witnesses to come forward

THREE people were killed when a van smashed into a car this morning.

The van driver, 51, and car's passenger, 72, were both pronounced dead on the scene.

The other driver, 75, was airlifted to hospital after the horror crash near Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

They died of their injuries at St John Radcliffe Hospital a short time later.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident, which involved a Ford Transit Connect van and a Ford Focus car.
