‘Drunk’ female passenger arrested after ‘attacking’ Wizz Air crew on flight to Madiera forcing plane to divert to Lisbon
A 'DRUNK' passenger who allegedly assaulted crew on a Wizz Air flight was hauled off the plane by cops when it was forced to divert to Lisbon.
The flight from Gatwick to Madeira made the unplanned landing in Portugal over fears the woman was a risk to the cabin crew and other passengers.

Footage showed cops boarding the flight to remove the rowdy woman at around 8pm on November 4 after leaving Gatwick at 5.30pm.
They can be seen talking to the passenger whose nationality was not disclosed.
The female passenger's 'drunk' antics meant the flight was delayed by six hours having been due to land in Madeira at 9.25pm.
A Portuguese passenger who spoke to the paper Jornal da Madeira said: "We were diverted to Lisbon because of a drunk female passenger who began to assault other passengers.

"She also assaulted crew as well.
"We were informed after police boarded that the plane was due to leave Lisbon just after midnight when it was supposed to have arrived at 9.25pm.
"That would mean us reaching our destination more than six hours late."
However, a Portuguese paper, Correio da Manha, said two people had been arrested over the incident.
Wizz Air and Portuguese police have been approached for comment.
Last month, a nurse dubbed "every passenger's worst nightmare" after getting drunk on a flight was allowed to keep her job.
Katherine Heyes, 31, was filmed screaming and swearing on a Thomas Cook flight from to Turkey in 2019 after downing a bottle of vodka on board.

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons' disciplinary committee ruled that she shouldn't be struck off or suspended despite her "disgraceful conduct".
The committee heard that Heyes, from Wigan, was ";bordering on manic" and had to be restrained by friends as her rant caused her three-year-old child to cry, a court heard.
