'KILLER' NURSE 'HOVERED AROUND'
Mum of tot ‘murdered by Lucy Letby ‘saw her daughter die after being rushed into a neonatal unit full of medics’
THE mum of a tot allegedly murdered by Lucy Letby told a jury she saw her daughter die after being rushed into a neonatal unit full of medics.
She and her husband were woken by a nurse and told the infant — referred to as Baby D — was “very poorly”.
The first-time mother said that, as they burst in, they saw a paediatric doctor, Andrew Brunton, trying to resuscitate her.
She said: “He was trying really hard.
“We were standing there and watching her dying.”
The mum told the jury she had seen Letby the night before “hovering around D”.
