Bombshell classified report says ‘HALF of UFO sightings can’t be explained’ amid fears some are ‘alien craft’

Its release follows the landmark Congressional hearing in Washington in May and last year’s Pentagon report into UAPs, which studied 144 reports of UAP encounters.

The 22-page report analyses 366 cases but only about half of them could be explained, two sources close to the department told the

They include video shot by Reaper drones conducting surveillance in the Middle East that caught "orbs"; flying around then "then "suddenly bolting off the screen".

Others are similar to he encounters filmed by F-18 pilots whose cameras picked up Tic-Tac type objects, said the source.

The objects were moving at supersonic speeds and performed incredible manoeuvre but without any kind of engine to power them.

The G-forces at such high speed were so extreme they would have crushed the skull of a human pilot, it was reported.

Some of the incidents in the new classified report have are attributed to Chinese intelligence using drones in a bid to find out how the United States trains its military pilots.

Other explanations are said to include weather balloons and radar appearing to show objects that don’t exist.

But officials have stressed that other incidents still cannot be explained.

Some in the intelligence community expressed disappointment at the report's focus on cases investigators were able to solve.

"They're patting themselves on the back that they've resolved over half of them," the ODNI source said.
