Married pole-dancing Longleat zookeeper framed workmate who found out about her romp with pal behind sailor hubby’s back
Hayleigh Flak, 28, cheated on her sailor husband and sneakily tried to hide the full details of her roll in the hay
A MARRIED zookeeper harassed a co-worker who had found out about her one-night stand with his pal.
Hayleigh Flak, 28, cheated on her sailor husband with an unnamed staff member at Longleat Safari Park, Wiltshire.
But the zoo worker told colleague and pal Craig Brooks about the romp.
Panicked Flak, a former pole dancer, then cooked up a plan to harass Mr Brooks to try to stop the details emerging, Chippenham magistrates heard.
Flak, whose Scot husband is serving in the Royal Navy, sent two emails to Longleat pretending to be a visitor complaining Mr Brooks had been aggressive.
Defending, Ellen McAnaw told the court: “She was worried her husband would find out and her intention was to send these emails and get Mr Brooks put on a different shift.
“It was not her intention to lose his job. It was not particularly bright, in fact it was incredibly stupid.
“Her husband is now going to find out what happened. She said she is going to go home tonight and tell him the full details and she’s sure that’s going to end her marriage.
“She has two children and is 16 weeks pregnant — it’s not a great position to be in.”
Prosecuting, Anna Humphreys said: “Mr Brooks was extremely distressed by the emails and said he felt scared for his own personal safety. He was at a loss as to why he was being targeted in this way. It transpired that the emails were from her.”
A police investigation found the emails had been sent from Flak’s computer, which she at first denied.
