FORMER Celtic player Chris Killen pleaded not guilty in court today over an alleged early morning sex attack.
The striker, 35, is accused of carrying out the assault on a woman while she was asleep.
The married ex-New Zealand international was charged by cops last month and bailed to appear at Bury Magistrates’ Court today.
Wearing a navy blue suit, he spoke only to confirm his name, address, age and enter his plea.
He denies a charge of sexual assault by touching – a rap which carries a maximum sentence of seven years behind bars.
JPs told the star the case is too serious to be dealt with at a magistrates’ court and committed it to crown court.
