This is the latest in a string of videos showing children turning on each other in shocking attacks
A SHOCKING video has emerged of a schoolgirl beaten to the floor by another teenage girl, as a crowd watches on.
This is the latest in a string of worrying recordings of young children and teenagers fighting and posting the footage online.
In this video, presumably filmed on a mobile, a young girl is on the phone, while another girl stalks around her with her fist clenched.
As the girl on the phone turns away from the aggressive other girl and the camera angle changes, it is clear they are surrounded by a large group of school-age kids.
The girl, who then dishes out a horrific beating, shouts in the face of the girl on the phone.
She yells: "Why are you turning around, I will punch you in you f***ing face, get off the phone."
As she tells the other girl to get off the phone she launches into a merciless attack, striking her on the side of the head before grabbing her by the hair and raining down hard blows on the back of her head.
The group of youngsters surrounding the pair make noises of surprise but do not step in or defend the girl being attacked.
The girl being punched does not appear to fight back but tries to protect her head as she is thrown around and pinned to the floor.
After about ten violent seconds the pair break apart and the attacker seems to walk away.
It is not know where this video was filmed in the UK, but it was posted on Facebook earlier this month by Ashley Griffith, who has more than 4,000 followers, where the attacker's behaviour was condemned by many commenters.
