GREENPEACE activists today stormed parliament just hours after eco-idiots threw cake into the face of King Charles’ waxwork at Madame Tussauds.

The group entered the Palace of Westminster as tourists and sat down on the floor before linking arms.

Sky News captured the moment the campaigners entered the room, with a security officer trying to halt an interview that was being broadcast live at the time.

This came just hours after Just Stop Oil activists were filmed throwing chocolate cake into the face of King Charles' waxwork at London's Madame Tussauds.

Shocking video footage uploaded on Twitter shows two eco-idiots slamming the desserts into the monarch's wax figure.

A woman out of shot could be heard shouting at the activists to stop.

But despite witnesses begging them to stop, the eco-loons continue with their shocking act.

One Just Stop Oil fanatic can be seen proudly posing next to the defaced waxwork as custard drips everywhere.

Eilidh McFadden, 20, from Glasgow and Tom Johnson 29, a painter decorator from Sunderland bought tickets and stepped over the rope barrier shortly after 10.30am today.

The senseless protestors seem to have failed to realise that King Charles III is a committed environmentalist.

He has a long history of campaigning for better conservation, organic farming and tackling climate change.

When Britain hosted the COP26 climate summit in Scotland last year, he gave the opening speech, urging world leaders seated in front of him to redouble their efforts to save the environment.

The Met Police confirmed four people have been arrested for criminal damage in relation to the incident.

Cops said: "We responded quickly to an incident at Madame Tussauds after two people threw food at a statue at approximately 10.50am."

It comes after a recent attack by Just Stop Oil on Van Gogh's Sunflowers.

The organisation has been targeting museums and art galleries with their demonstrations in recent weeks.

After the incident, Lord Sugar tweeted: "I would like someone to find out what these 2 idiots cherish and like and then throw paint all of it."

Earlier this month, eco-mobs repeatedly brought London traffic grinding to a halt.

In Knightsbridge protestors stopped a sick baby getting to hospital and a fire engine responding to blaze.

Days later, furious members of the public dragged the mob from the tarmac after a van driver was prevented from visiting his ill wife.

Last week protesters caused mayhem on the M25 by scaling the 275ft QEII Bridge.

Queues reached at least six miles long while the idiots dangled from the critical structure for the best part of two days.
