Two men arrested after teenage boy ‘kidnapped and raped’ in the woods in vile attack
TWO men have been arrested after a boy was allegedly kidnapped and raped in the woods.
The suspects, 31 and 46, have been arrested on suspicion of rape, false imprisonment and kidnap.
It comes after a boy under the age of 16 is reported to have been assaulted in Coombs Wood in Armathwaite, Cumbria, earlier this month.
Both men were released on police bail. Detectives are also trying to identify a dark coloured Ford Fiesta from the mid-2000s.
It is believed to have been occupied by one white man and one black man in their 20s-30s.
Senior investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector John Graham-Cumming said: “This is a complex investigation that is being managed by a specialist team of dedicated detectives.

"The investigation has been fast paced and a vast number of lines of enquiry have been conducted, including the recent arrests.
