Man, 29, charged with murder of three-week-old baby boy as heartbroken family pays tribute to ‘beautiful flower’
A MAN has been charged with the murder of a three-week-old "beautiful flower" baby boy.
Police were scrambled to a home in Birmingham on Tuesday following reports a baby was not breathing.
Little Mohammed Ibrahim was rushed to hospital but couldn't be saved and died a short time later.
Two women were also injured in the horror but have since been released from hospital.
Kadees Mohammed has now been charged with murder, assault and two counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The 29-year-old, from Birmingham, is due to appear at the city's magistrates' court today.

Mohammed's heartbroken family have now paid tribute to the baby.
They said in a statement: “To our beautiful baby boy, Mohammed Ibrahim.
"A beautiful flower in our lives. Your family loves you so much.
"We will be together again one day. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone.
"For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.”
A cordon remains at the property on Dovey Road, Sparkhill, as specialist forensic examinations continue.
