The F1 star says he's long been a fan of the computer game series
Lewis Hamilton is one of the big names set to star in the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare game.
The F1 champ will play the role of an engineer on one of the game's spaceships.
According to the game's script, the ship which is named Retribution, is one of Earth's few remaining warships capable of defending them during the ongoing galactic battle.
Infinite Warfare is the latest instalment in Activision's well establish shooter series, and takes players across a galaxy where humanity has colonised the Solar System and has begun running riot.
The story line follows Captain Nick Reyes and his squad who try to settle rogue groups running large areas of space.
While Hamilton will not be playing as major role in the game, you will be able to take part in side-missions where you will have more interaction with him.
