'SATAN TOLD ME DO IT'

Satanist Breaking Bad obsessed social worker ‘dissolved cop’s body in acid after strangling him during kinky sex session’

PC Gordon Semple shared an interest in sado-masochistic sex with his alleged killer, Stefano Brizzi, jurors at the Old Bailey were told

A SATANIST who strangled a cop during a drug-fuelled bondage session chopped up his body and dissolved it in a bath of acid, a court heard yesterday.

Crystal meth addict Stefano Brizzi, a fan of Breaking Bad, copied the gruesome task from the US TV series.

He met PC Gordon Semple, 59, through gay cruising app Grindr. Mr Semple had gone to his flat in Southwark, South London, while supposed to be working, the Old Bailey was told.

Six days later police were alerted to a “smell of death” from the flat.

Jurors heard former Morgan Stanley computer programmer Brizzi, 49, answered his front door wearing only sunglasses and underpants.

Stefano Brizzi, an Italian social worker, allegedly killed the cop and tried to dissolve his body in acid

He then reportedly told an officer: “I’ve tried to dissolve the body. I’ve killed a police officer. Satan told me to.”

Attempts had been made to boil away bits of the corpse in kitchen pans.

Some body parts were found in his bin and a communal rubbish area, while Italian-born Brizzi disposed of other parts in the Thames. One of the PC’s feet was found by a passer-by.

Prosecutor Crispin Aylett QC said one man, referred to as CD in court, was interested in the party and headed to the flat but was told by Brizzi that another man was sick and not to come in.

He said: "When CD pressed the entry buzzer, someone who can only have been the defendant replied over the intercom 'We are having a situation here. Someone fell ill but we're taking care of it. So our party is cancelled'. CD turned around and went home."

He said that CD must have arrived at the very moment Pc Semple was meeting his own death inside the flat.

PC Semple's last communication on Grindr was about 7.04pm, with his partner trying to call him about 20 minutes later but not getting a response.

He later reported him missing.

The court heard that just days after the alleged murder, Brizzi went to DIY store Leyland SDM to buy items including perforated metal sheets, three buckets, and cleaning products.

Prosecutor Aylett suggested the perforated sheets were to "grate" Pc Semple's flesh into the globules found in the bath, with the accused murderer subbing throughout the footage shown to the court.

The court heard Brizzi's Grindr account boasted of a taste for "boots, feet, puppy training, bondage, spanking, whipping, wax, pegs, nipple play, TT (tit torture) CBT (cock and ball torture), watersports (involving urination) and scat (involving excrement)",

The court heard that the man often tried to shock his addict support group with his obsession with devil worship and penchant for having sex on top of a pentagram.

Attending the meetings sporadically, he told the group he was keen on domination, pain and Satanic rituals.

He was also obsessed with the hit TV show Breaking Bad, with the show's main character Walter White starting to produce crystal meth.

In one episode, the body of a murder victim is dissolved in a bath of acid, the court heard.

The court heard Brizzi kept notes about “Lucifer” and boasted about having sex over a pentangle.

He denies murder, claiming Mr Semple, of Greenhithe, Kent, died in an accident during sex. He admits obstructing the coroner by dismembering a body.

The trial continues.
