KIM'S BLOODY PURGE

Desperate despot Kim Jong-un has publicly executed 64 ‘traitors’ so far this year

North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un has reportedly been feeling anxious about his personal safety

KIM Jong-un has ordered the public execution of 64 "traitors" so far this year, South Korea’s spy agency has revealed.

The North, which had previously exercised restraint in undertaking state-sanctioned killings, resumed them after the U.N. Security Council imposed additional sanctions on the country following its long-range rocket launch and nuclear tests.

The National Intelligence Service said that Kim has recently been feeling anxious about his personal safety, and has even implemented additional measures for detecting explosives and poison.

He is also frequently cancelling or changing his plans for outside activities such as on-site inspections, it said.

Sources say that Kim has also stayed away from his flood-ravaged lands for fear of being felled by an assassin’s bullet.

The quaking tyrant has so far refused to venture from his Pyongyang palaces to see the tens of thousands of people whose lives were ruined by the deluge last month.

Army chiefs have told him that hundreds of weapons and boxes of ammo were washed away by the torrents of water which devastated North Hamgyong Province.

And the supreme leader is worried he could be picked off by a citizen eager to bring regime-change to the impoverished country.

"Hundreds of weapons including rifles and ammunition were buried or lost during the flood," a source from North Hamgyong Province told website .

“Kim Jong-un will avoid a 'Number 1 event’ (any event with the North Korean leader in attendance) in the region until every single one of those weapons is accounted for."

"In the past, even a single missing weapons report would have excluded the region from hosting a Number 1 event," the source added.

"Considering the current atmosphere, Kim Jong-un will likely still be reluctant to visit the region even if the housing restoration work is successfully completed."

In the nuclear-obsessed North, thorough security inspections are conducted before any local visit by the leader, together with scenery beautification projects.

Agents from the Ministry of State Security are deployed to the surrounding area before the visit, monitoring public buildings and roads to prevent assassination attempts or other undesirable incidents.

Armed agents, assigned with the mission of "serving the leader first with eagerness," guard the surrounding area day and night, restricting outside access to the site.

In many cases, the leader's highly confidential on-site visits are abruptly cancelled when movements deemed suspicious are detected in the area beforehand.

"Recently, the regime mobilised soldiers to search for weapons along the river, stating that the recovery of weapons and ammunition is of the utmost importance and connected to the personal safety of Kim Jong-un," the source said.

"The officials are emphasising the reporting measures in place for weapons discovery, even towards the local residents who have their hands full dealing with flood recovery, and encouraging young children to search for weapons in the spirit of a "treasure hunt".

Earlier this week Kim warned the UK the two countries are "on the brink" of war, after the UK moved to send Typhoon jets to his country’s peninsula.

And an expert has predicted that North Korea could have 80 nuclear weapons capable of turning the US into a "radioactive wasteland" by 2020.

KIM FLOP UN North Korea humiliated after missile launch FAILS

North Korea test-fired a missile that failed immediately after launch, South Korean military said.
It is the second failed test in less than a week after the North's recent launch of a Musudan missile, which has an estimated range of 4,000km (2,500 miles).
The missile has been tested eight times this year, with only one success.
Experts fear it could become operational as early as next year.
The US condemned the launch calling it a "further provocation".
