Urgent manhunt for tattooed sex offender as cops release mugshot and warn he is ‘danger to women’

COPS have launched an urgent manhunt for a sex offender who is a “danger to women”.

Police in Bradford, West Yorks, are frantically searching for Steven Thrower, who was released from prison after serving a sentence for sexual assault.

He is wanted by cops for failing to comply with notification requirements.

Thrower is described as a white male, of medium build with a bald head and a scar at the top of his head.

He also has several tattoos including a Pegasus on his left arm, a swallow on his right arm and some tattoos of names.

West Yorkshire Police say is no suggestion that he has left the country, with information suggesting he has links to the North Yorkshire, including Harrogate and York.

He had been released from prison after serving a sentence for a sexual assault in Knaresborough. 

An image released of Thrower by cops is from July 2008, so it is possible he may have changed his appearance significantly since then.

Cops previously warned Thrower is a “danger to women”.

Anyone with information that will assist in locating him is asked to contact police in Bradford on 101, or by using the  on the West Yorkshire Police website.
