He appears a number of times in the ad and the adult version of his character, according to screenwriter Bob Gale, is said to have been inspired by Trump.

In the clip, the billionaire's words appear to echo the bullies, as the characters say their victims are fat, or order them to sit down, and then insult their intelligence.a

He is also compared to Mean Girls character Regina George, who is played by Rachel McAdams.

"You watch Part II again and there's a scene where Marty confronts Biff in his office and there's a huge portrait of Biff on the wall behind Biff, and there's one moment where Biff kind of stands up and he takes exactly the same pose as the portrait? Yeah."

The ad is designed to try and draw parallels between Trump and bullies who have appeared in the movies.

The Mean Girls character of Regina George is seen saying in the video: "You're so stupid."
