Who was Jeffrey Dahmer victim Errol Lindsey?

ERROL Lindsey suffered an agonising death at the hands of American serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.

Jeffrey Dahmer, also nicknamed ''The Milwaukee Cannibal'', raped, murdered, and dismembered 17 boys and men ranging in age from 14 to 32, from 1978 to 1991.

Who was Errol Lindsey?

Errol Lindsey lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA and was just 19 years-old at the time of his murder.

Those who knew him described him as an upstanding and generous individual who loved helping others and took pleasure in making new friends.

Errol was known to be a young man who was quite popular among his friendship group was very close to his family, especially his mother and sister.

What happened to Errol Lindsey?

Reports claim that on the day of his murder, Errol was sent out on an errand to get a key cut, and on his way, he crossed paths with Jeffrey Dahmer.

On April 7, 1991, Dahmer met Errol Lindsay and lured him back to his apartment.

It was there he drugged Errol and kept alive to perform a gruesome experiment.

Dahmer drilled a hole in his head and poured hydrochloric acid into it, hoping to render the victim in a vegetative state - he then murdered the 19-year old.

Later, he decapitated Errol, and disposed of some of his body.

Jeffrey Dahmer was arrested months later on July 22, 1991, after one of his victims, Tracy Edwards, managed to escape and led officers to his apartment.

After Dahmer was arrested in July 1991, the police found Errol’s skull and identified the victim through dental records.

In 1991, Rita Isbell sat in court listening to Dahmer claim insanity, while his lawyers stated he was "out of control" at the time of the murders.

She watched as the family members of Dahmer's other victims walked up to the stand to confront him.

She described them as all with tears in their eyes down and their heads down, but she refused to do that.
