She specialises in advising her clients on 'succession planning'.

She studied at Cheltenham Ladies College along with other big names including Amber Rudd, Amanda Wakeley and Mary Archer, according to .

According to the site, she graduated in History and Modern Languages from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.

Shortly afterwards, she took up work by auctioneers Christie's in Geneva.

Before becoming a solicitor, she worked for USB investment bank in New York.

She was also a senior associate at accounting firm PWC.

When did Kwasi Kwarteng and Harriet Edwards get married?

The couple tied the knot in December 2019.

The Chancellor proposed to Harriet at her mother's house in Derbyshire.

Kwarteng confirmed their engagement: "We're very happy… we had thought we'd let friends know gently over the course of the week but, now it's a story."

A long-time friend of the couple said Harriet had "stabilised" her husband and "given him a home life he didn't have" before they were together.
