Donald Trump demands Hillary Clinton takes a drug test before next US presidential debate

He made the suggestion during a rally in New Hampshire today and said she seemed "pumped up" in the last clash

US presidential hopeful Donald Trump has demanded opponent Hillary Clinton should be forced to take a drug test after seeming "pumped up" during the last debate.

He made the comments while in New Hampshire as part of his bid to become the next President.

He compared himself and Clinton to athletes who must be subject to the same rules - meaning it is only fair to be drug tested before the next presidential debate.

His suspicions were aroused when his opponent appeared "pumped up" at the start of the debate and without energy by the end.

Trump has been dogged by fresh scandals after a leaked tape from 2005 emerged where he boasted of "grabbing women by the p****".

He has been defended by interim UKIP leader Nigel Farage who dismissed Trump's comments as "alpha male boasting".

Trump apologised for the comments and admitted to feeling embarrassed but was slammed by Democrat Clinton as showing "exactly who he is";.

He said repeatedly that his words in 2005 were merely “locker room talk” and paled in comparison to what he called Bill Clinton's abuse of women.

“She should be ashamed of herself,” Trump declared. Ahead of the debate, the businessman met with three women who accused the former president of sexual harassment and even rape, then invited them to sit in the debate hall.

Bill Clinton never faced any criminal charges in relation to the allegations, and a lawsuit over an alleged rape was dismissed. He did settle a lawsuit with one of the women who claimed harassment.

During the second debate he told Mrs Clinton if he became president she would "go to jail".

The highly combative debate began with the hopefuls refusing to shake hands, but did end with a handshake and a question which saw the pair identify traits they admire in one another.

Since the recordings came out women have come forward to say they were groped by him and a flood of Republicans revoking their support.
