British troops deployed to Tunisia in fight against Islamic State
30 Brits were massacred by ISIS inspired gun maniac Seifeddine Rezgui on a beach front in Tunisian tourist spot Sousse last year
BRITISH troops have been deployed to Tunisia to help combat the flow of Islamic State killers across the border from lawless Libya.
A team of 40 troops - experts in surveillance and ground patrols - arrived just days ago to train up to 200 Tunisian soldiers to protect their border.
Defence Secretary Michael Fallon said: “We are determined to support our Tunisian allies to defend against Daesh terrorists who slaughtered innocent Britons on a beach there last year.
“Our training will help Tunisian forces strengthen their border security and stop the spread of Daesh along the coast.”
