QUEEN Elizabeth's funeral is set to be a poignant and historic event, as she is laid to rest on Monday, September 19, 2022.
As mourners say their final farewell to Her Majesty as she makes her way to her final resting place, a royal procession will walk behind.
Who is in the procession for the Queen's funeral?
As the Queen's coffin makes its way to Westminster Abbey, carried on on a 123-year-old gun carriage towed by 142 Royal Navy sailors - a royal procession will follow closely behind, including all senior Royal family members.
Royal Navy sailors pulling the State Gun carriage will be followed by King Charles and the Princess Royal, the Duke of York, the Earl of Wessex and Forfar, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Sussex, Mr Peter Phillips, the Earl of Snowdon, the Duke of Gloucester and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.
The Household of The King will also walk in the procession, including - Master of the Household, Principal Private Secretary, Equerry, Treasurer, Household of The Prince of Wales: Equerry.
Two of the Queen's great-grandchildren, Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, seven, will also walk behind the Queen's coffin.
All processions and services will be broadcast on national television and radio.
Mourners will also watch the procession in person at the ceremonial viewing areas along the processional route.

King Charles will once again lead the royal family in marching behind the Queen’s coffin when it is moved, at 10.44am from Westminster Hall to Westminster Abbey for the funeral service.
The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex will once more walk side-by-side behind their father, the King, as he walks alongside his siblings.
