But the young boy's life was tragically cut short when he died on Thursday night, .

His broken-hearted mother Kayleigh Green has since shared a photograph of a present the young boy had left her, with a Snickers bar placed next to a note that read: "this is for you mum p.s love u mostest" (sic).

His great-uncle Dan Marchant said the only child was a sweet boy, saying: "He had a heart of gold and loved life.

"He was so outgoing and didn't let his asthma stop him doing anything."

The young boy, who is reportedly about 11-years-old, went to North Borough Junior School, before moving to Maplesden Noakes in Buckland Road.

The practice said their thoughts were with the patient's family.
