Moment cackling ‘killer clown’ films himself hurling eggs out of car window at passers-by
A CACKLING clown has filmed himself driving through the streets and throwing eggs at houses.
The man giggles and yells "it's crime time" in the video as he starts pitching the eggs out his car window.
Phillip Rupert Davies shared the video, later writing: "This is my job. I'm a professional clown".
But the clown admitted that his career was short-lived, later taking to social media and writing: "Well that didn't take long.
"Just had the cops stop me and give me a telling off for clowning around."
But he said despite cops warning that his mask might frighten children, "5 minutes later a load of kids were asking for my name and autograph".
He also hit back at those criticising his video, later writing on Facebook: "Rolling my eyes at some of the moaning at my video.
"All I'm doing is providing a FREE egg delivery service. You don't see the post man or milk man getting moaned at ! Lol"
The man said he was hit with private "hate mail" over the video, while others attacked his video online.
One person wrote: "Yeah cause this isn't stupid at all".
Another jokingly wrote: "You're gonna get your head kicked in by someone".
Another woman who said one of the eggs landed in her garden, demanding the prankster clean up the mess.
But Phillip has since said he would cut short his clown activities, saying he heard kids were scared of the clowns.
Writing on social media, the prankster wrote: "Actually, I might have taken it a bit to far AGAIN.
"A little girl was just walking down the street and she was saying to her dad she was scared of clowns so I won't be clowning around on the streets.
"The purge is over."
He has since threatened that he would swap his clown mask for a "good old horse head."
The young man has joined the thousands of pranksters donning clown costumes, with the pranks often turning sinister.
The UK has been overrun by people dressed up as clowns, with dozens of sightings across England, Scotland and Wales - and even in Ireland.
Police have even warned that people could be arrested if they dress up like a clown.
