Kate Middleton’s mum Carole cashes in on sick killer clown craze by flogging scary costumes
THE Duchess of Cambridge’s mum is selling “killer clown” costumes on her mail order website.
Carole Middleton’s firm has five different menacing outfits as the yob attack craze sweeps the country.
Clown victims branded her firm Party Pieces “irresponsible” and police urged sellers to withdraw the scary fancy dress.
The firm, founded by Kate’s mum, 61, in 1987, is flogging the outfits for between £18.99 and £43.99.
They include the Deluxe Sinister Clown with “a bloodied jumpsuit and terrifying mask with open brain”. It also offers a £28.99 adult Clown Partysuit with blood-stained orange striped suit and a “menacing evil clown face”.
The £19.99 Sideshow Clown Costume has a black and red tattered shirt printed with an evil clown face. Another costume is designed for kids aged 12 and up.
Party Pieces was also criticised for selling a £16.99 Roadkill Pet Halloween costume of a dead rabbit with tyre marks.
Clown victim Owen Russell, 17, said: “It’s disgraceful that these costumes are still being sold, especially by a family with links to the royals.
“They’re supporting the craze. It’s highly irresponsible. People are being terrorised and assaulted.
Someone will get killed.” Owen of Dinnington, South Yorks, was almost blinded when a yob in a clown costume threw a branch at his face.
It missed his eye and left a head wound needing six stitches.
