Grieving Tallaght mum clutches photo at vigil as family in heartbreaking plea on remembering three ‘forever young’ kids
THE heartbroken mother of three children found dead at their home was supported by family as she bravely attended a vigil in Tallaght tonight.
Margaret “Twink” Cash McDonagh, 40, made her way into her local church for a prayer service in memory of twins Christy and Chelsea Cawley, eight, and their sister Lisa Cash, 18
Devastated family members and locals gathered at a vigil this evening to remember the siblings.
Grieving mother Margaret “Twink” Cash McDonagh was supported by family as they arrived at the vigil. The heartbroken mum wore black and carried a framed photo.
She sobbed as she was helped in by two family members and they made their to front row alongside other relatives and loved ones moments after the service began.
Father Bill O’Shaughnessy told the neighbours and friends who attended: “Tonight is just about a simple and gentle bit of prayer to remember three beautiful young people, Chelsea, Christy and Lisa, and to pray for each other in heavy and dark times that have hit this community and really just to be there for each other.”
The cleric, along with other local people, then comforted an emotional Margaret as she was helped from the church.
The family have made a heartbreaking plea to people to remember the "forever young, always loved" children.
The three siblings will be laid to rest together after a joint funeral this Friday.
The service will take place at 10am at St Aidan’s Church, Brookfield.

'TALLAGHT'S ANGELS'
Nan Cawley, a relative of the children, penned a poignant poem in memory of the three siblings, who she described as “Tallaght’s angels”.
The poem read: “I hope when you got to Heaven, All the stars were shining bright, And there was no more darkness, Just peace and eternal light...
“I bet you all walked hand in hand, Through Heavens open door, Into the Arms of the Angels, Who’ll hold you close forever more...
“You will sleep side by side, On the softest cloud bed, With a pillow of stars, Beneath your little heads...
“Lisa will keep watch, As Christy and Chelsea play, In Heavens beautiful garden, With the other Angels each day...
'WATCH OVER THEIR MAMMY'

“Three young lives cut short, With so much left to give, Let’s not think of how they died, Just how they lived...
“Happy and smiling, With beautiful little hearts, In so many lives, They played a great part...
“Rest in Peace Tallaght’s Angels, In God’s Garden above, Lisa, Christy and Chelsea, Forever young..always loved.”
Nan told how Margaret “lived for her kids”, saying : “Worst 48 hours of our lives.
