Nicola Sturgeon’s husband appears to pinch her BUM as they joke around at SNP conference
Scotland's First Minister gave out a little shriek as the photo opportunity did not go as she planned
NICOLA Sturgeon was left red-faced after her cheeky husband appeared to pinch her bum while she sat on his lap at the SNP conference.
Peter Murrell, 66, and his politician wife, 46, were wandering around the conference before taking a seat at one of the stands.
The couple shared a rare intimate moment in public when Nicola sat down on Peter's lap.
But the party's cheeky chief executive made his wife jump up with an embarrassed look on her face.
The SNP leader let out a light shriek and laughed off the surprise as her photo opportunity at the BBC stand took an unexpected turn.
One onlooker said: "It was really funny. She just jumped out of the seat and did a little shriek.
"I think she was surprised. He was just having a laugh.
"Peter was not embarrassed. It was all in good humour and very funny."
The First Minister had been speaking earlier in the day at her party's annual conference at the SECC in Glasgow.

Ms Dugdale said: "That is why Scottish Labour will vote against any proposal for another referendum.
“There have been far too many broken promises from the SNP over the past decade; Nicola Sturgeon should not break her promise on a second independence referendum.”
