Parents fume after spending £2000 to watch Diversity dance at Butlins – for just five minutes

PARENTS were left gutted after spending £2,000 to watch Diversity dance — for just five minutes.
The BGT winners were billed as headline acts at three Butlin’s resorts.
But Ashley Banjo’s troupe danced for five minutes, with the audience playing games and singing for about another 30.
Stephanie Mara-Cole paid £2,000 for a family break to see them dance in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.
The mum of three fumed: “We had to watch them running around playing games.”
Another mum, Hayley Bayford, was also left unhappy.

She raged on Twitter: “The show was great but very disappointed by the length, only 33 minutes.
“Given they are the ‘stars’ of our stay, it was pretty disappointing really.”
Dad Richard Lawrence moaned: “Not enough dancing. It’s what they are famous for.”
One dad said he booked a weekend break at Butlin’s after seeing the Diversity ad, but later found he should have booked tickets for the show separately.

Lee Wilkinson tweeted: “Disappointed family, really badly handled - can’t get what's advertised as part of the price.
"No mention of limited availability. Shocking.”
Butlin’s said it reflected Diversity’s “evolution away from dancing”.
A spokesman added: “Over 50,000 guests have enjoyed seeing Diversity perform this summer and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
"The popular show involves music, games as well as plenty of dancing which is clearly highlighted to guests online and via our app.”
