Bizarre footage shows bird-brained pigeons being dragged to their deaths after landing on a grain silo… so were they baked into the bread?

THIS is the moment bird-brained pigeons were dragged to their deaths into a bread factory after landing on a grain silo.

The flying scroungers couldn't believe their luck when they landed on a giant pile of grain being processed at a bakery in Kazan, southern Russia, after a roof door was left open.

But little did they know that their snack was slowly being sucked into an outlet at the bottom leading to an industrial mill grinding the grain into flour.

The gruesome clip posted online, believed to have been filmed by a bakery worker, shows them being sucked into the bakery film one by one as they tuck into the grains.

But their disappearance doesn't appear to ruffle the feathers of other pigeons sharing in the free meal.

Some can be seen refusing to stop feeding or fly away with more pigeons landing on the ill-fated feast.

Despite the horrific ending, the clip has become a grim social media hit.

One person commented: I could watch this all day" while another wrote“I find it relaxing”.

But one shocked viewer pointed out:  "I think the bigger issue here is pigeons being baked into the bread."

According to Russian media, public prosecutors and health officials are now investigating the video.

Some reports say the birds escaped the mill stones, while others are less certain.

In other feathered-animal related news, a lad from Manchester uploaded a hilarious clip of a pigeon at a local bar after the stubborn bird refused to leave.

Ian Dickson, a bar supervisor, branded northern birds “hard as f***” after he had to force the pigeon out using a hoover.

The footage, which has now gone viral on Facebook, shows Ian moving the pesky pigeon across the bar floor with the vacuum.

After he manages to get the bird out the front door and shuts it safely, the 23-year-old declares: “And stay out”.
