A woman was raped in woodland after accepting a lift from a man after leaving a bar, police have said.
The woman in her 20s had left a bar in Tunbridge Wells at about 3am on Saturday.
She accepted a lift in a black hatchback from Church Road and was driven to an area of woodland near Rusthall where she was forced out of the car and raped, Kent Police have said.
The woman tried to leave but was followed by her attacker.
Det Ins Geoff Payne said: "We believe she approached another man to seek assistance, but it would appear he was unable to understand her due to her distressed state.
"This man may have important information which can help with our enquiries and may even have also have spoken to the suspect."
