The young hairdresser tied the knot with partner Daniel in Dublin as sons Rian, 12, Riley, 10, and Carson, 7, watched on.

She was given the all-clear from cervical cancer in February but sadly died in her sleep at Harold's Cross Hospice on Monday, August 15 after the cancer spread to her stomach.

Devastated family and friends have expressed their heartbreak as they paid tribute to the mum-of-three.

A friend of Lyndsey, Sharon Ogden : "Everybody is broken over her death. Lyndsey was an incredible person and that’s why everybody loved her.

"I used to call her Mother Teresa in a tracksuit because she was just so good to everybody.

"She sang and danced herself through life too, even on her worst days. She lit everybody’s life up and would do anything for you."

Sharon has organised a fundraiser for the heartbroken family.

Friends and family are rallying together to find widowed dad Daniel and the couple's three boys, two of whom have additional needs, a new house.

Pal Sharon added: "It’s the last thing Daniel and the boys need to be worrying about at the moment."

Sharon set up a GoFundMe page over a year ago when Lyndsey found out she had a stage four tumour in the back of her stomach.

The cancer spread to her bowels in the last three weeks of her illness.

Tragic mum Lyndsey, who "adored" her boys, sadly passed away after six days in hospice care.

As mourners gathered in memory of Lyndsey at her funeral at The Assumption Church in Ballyfermot, Dublin, sister Ealish told how the bride got to be the "princess" she always wanted to be on her wedding day.

She added: "Lyn had a tough few last weeks but she still managed to get everyone to laugh around her."
