Plastic fantastic

This bloke has found an incredible use for the new £5 note

A man from Norwich has discovered that the plastic fiver is far more useful than anyone could have expected

The new £5 has a secret superpower: playing vinyl records.

Michael Ridge, from Norwich, has uploaded a video of himself playing ABBA's 'Money, Money, Money' on his turntable using the new £5 note as a needle.

Due to the note's plastic construction, it is capable of playing the sounds of a record by 'reading' the sounds in the record's grooves.

Ridge claims he was easily able to pick up the sound of his record by using the £5 note, a contact microphone and a small amplifier not shown on screen.
