Mum’s anger after 10-year-old son was left with badly injured arm after being attacked by ‘killer clown’
The young lad was walking home with friends when they were spooked by a clown who then threw a rock at them
THE mother of a young boy chased and attacked by a clown is now fearful to let him outside on his own.
10-year-old Ben Griffiths was walking with some friends in Wales when they saw a clown.
His arm was left bruised after the person wearing the creepy clown costume threw a large rock at him.
His mum, Zoe, is fuming and now is reluctant to let him walk outside alone for fear he will be attacked again.
She spoke on Good Morning Britain today to say how angry she is, and also added it is a shame as they only just moved to the area.
Ben said: "We saw a clown and we started running. He threw a rock at my arm, I was very terrified."
He said his mum's face went bright red when he told her what had happened.
Zoe added: "I couldn't believe it at first to be honest, I couldn't believe that someone could do that to a child.
"They said that it was [true] and well my reaction was I got my trainers and I was going to go to the park and have a look, but I just phoned the police then.
"It's definitely limited his going out. I never want him to be walking anywhere on his own, I want him to be with his friends at all times."
