Sex beast hunted by cops after attacking girl, 18, as she walks along riverbank in Glasgow
Police said the teenager was targeted near the River Clyde early this morning
AN 18-year-old girl has been sexually assaulted by a thug who pounced on her as she walked along a riverbank in Glasgow city centre.
Police said the teenager was targeted near the River Clyde in Broomielaw at about 1.05am today.
The area under Glasgow Bridge has reportedly been cordoned off and police remain at the scene.
A source described the investigation as being at "an early stage" but urged anyone who was in the area to come forward.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police received a report of a sexual assault in the Broomielaw, Glasgow at around 1.05am on Tuesday October 11."
