FINAL SHOWDOWN

What time does the third US Presidential debate start tonight, what will be discussed and how can I watch in the UK?

FOLLOWING two already heated debates - the third and final showdown between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump is taking place tonight.

It will be the final time the pair will meet before America votes for their next President and comes just days after Trump's wife, Melania, defended her husband against the growing chorus of sex allegations.

Their last meeting which was held on October 9, was the first time the pair met in public since a video in which Trump is heard bragging about how his fame allowed him to “do anything” to women was released.

Clinton said Trump’s own aggressively vulgar comments about women had revealed “exactly who he is”.

, the selected topics for the debate are as follows:

  • Debt and entitlements
  • Immigration
  • Economy
  • Supreme Court
  • Foreign hot spots
  • Fitness to be President

These topics are subject to change because of news developments and will not necessarily be discussed in that order.

In the first debate in September, the three vague topics were "America's Direction, "Achieving Prosperity" and "Securing America".

The economy and terrorism are the top two issues for voters with foreign policy, health care, gun policy and immigration also being high priority which means they are highly likely to be discussed.
