Apprentice star Natalie Hughes’ brother busted for flogging pirate DVDs and CDs at Glasgow market
Brian Hughes, 27, admitted breaching copyright laws
APPRENTICE hopeful Natalie Hughes’ brother has been busted for flogging dodgy DVDs.
Brian Hughes, 27, was caught with knock-off films and CDs at Glasgow’s Barras Market.
The crook appeared in the dock at the city’s sheriff court last month and admitted breaching copyright laws by selling the pirate discs.
A source revealed: “He is known for selling dodgy stuff at the market. It won’t be a surprise to anyone who went on a regular basis to find out he was eventually caught.
“Natalie could probably do without her family getting into trouble at the same time she’s starting this show.”
Hughes admitted selling the dodgy gear between June 1 and August 9 this year.
Sentence was deferred until March for him to prove he could stay out of trouble.
Natalie, 30, last night declined to comment on her brother’s conviction.
The Sun told last week how the beauty salon owner had lost her older brother Francis when he was just 34 after losing his battle with booze.
He was downing up to 15 cans of cider a day before being killed by a suspected seizure while he was in rehab in 2013.
