Cops on the look out for predator who tried to grab boy, 10, from skate park in broad daylight
Man attempted to grab youngster's arm as he played in public area
COPS were hunting a man today after he tried to grab a child playing in a skate park in broad daylight.
The young boy, aged 10, was playing in the park at around 4.30pm when a man walked towards him. The suspect allegedly then reached out his arm and tried to grab the boy.
Luckily the terrified youngster managed to flee the predator and reported him to the police.
He was described as being aged around 30 and with short blond hair.
Police investigating the attempted abduction today urged anyone with information to come forward.
The victim was playing at the Longmead Skate Park in Darenth Avenue, Tonbridge, Kent, when the man approached him.

A police spokesman said: "The victim, a 10-year-old boy, reported that a man in the park tried to grab him.
"The man is described as aged about 30, about 5ft 10in tall and of a medium build, with short blond hair and an English accent. He was wearing a black short-sleeved hooded top, black jeans and black shoes.
"Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the description is asked to phone Kent Police."
