Divers find dad’s iPhone with holiday snaps 5 days after it was lost in sea

A DAD was reunited with lost holiday snaps after scuba divers found his iPhone five days after it fell in the sea.

Gutted Andy Higgins, 36, wanted to take some underwater snaps during a boat trip in Rhodes.

But as he dived in his phone’s waterproof pouch detached from a lanyard.

Andy said: “We spent 30 minutes looking for it then had to go.”

The decorator flew home to Scarborough, North Yorks, and posted a plea to Greek divers.

He was stunned to get a call to say it had been retrieved.

Andy added: “It was in the sea for five days.

"We’d made a friend over there so he collected and posted it.
