Kim Kardashian’s stolen £4 million diamond ring was engraved with the word ‘Adidas’ to commemorate Kanye’s latest business deal
The reality star made the revelation on a radio show days she was robbed in Paris
DAYS before Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris she revealed that her £4 million engagement ring was engraved with the word ‘Adidas’.
The reality star’s apartment was raided by a gang of armed thugs on Monday – with the masked criminals stealing £9 million worth of jewellery.
Kim said that husband Kanye West gifted her the Lorraine Schwartz ring after inking a mega deal with the clothing brand.
She said: “I was sleeping and (Kanye) woke me up in the middle of the night and said, ‘Babe, babe, I got you something from Adidas.’
“And I said, ‘I’ll get the shoes in the morning babe, I’m sleeping.’
“And then he put a box on my pillow, a Lorraine Schwartz box, and he goes, ‘No, open your eyes.’
“And I opened my eyes and it was a box, and I like, woke up, and I was like, ‘What is this?’”
The hip hop mogul told Kim that he had ‘upgraded’ her ring, saying: “Well, you know I just did that big Adidas deal, so I got you something from Adidas!"
Kim added: “And he engraved Adidas on the band inside because he’s funny like that.”
The famous beauty then said that Kanye suggested that he trade in her old wedding band as a result of the mega-purchase.
She said: “I was like, "Do I have to give my other ring back?" and he was like, ‘Can you do that?’”
However Kim jokingly replied: “Nooo! You can’t do that, I’m just kidding. Thank you, Adidas!”
Kim reportedly ‘blames herself’ for the robbery and is scaling back her public appearances following the heist.
A source told that the reality star regrets flaunting her wealth on social media including showing off her engagement ring.
The report says the A-lister is still shaken following the crime which has shocked the world.
The source said: “She’s tearing herself up that she Snapchatted the ring so much and wore it all the time.
“Kanye wants to buy her the ring again but she just says she doesn’t want to think about it.
“He says he wants everything to go back to normal and for the incident to not affect their lives.”
However another insider said the voluptuous star’s family are scaling back her public appearances as her security team is revamped featuring plainclothes and undercover bodyguards.
And famously attention-hungry clan have remained ominously silent on social media since Monday’s incident.
The source said: “This scared everyone. ‘They’re not taking chances… It was a really scary situation for the entire family and it’s just not worth it to put themselves out there unnecessarily right now.”
