Convicted murderer repeatedly kicked and punched by fellow prisoners after launching terrifying ‘napalm’ attack in jail cafe

A MURDERER was assaulted by fellow inmates after launching a terrifying 'napalm' attack in a prison cafe.
Paul McManus, 21, who killed a woman by stabbing her 37 times, poured a kettle filled with boiled water and laced with sugar over fellow convict Robert Wallis in a brutal retaliation attack.
He claimed armed robber Wallis, 28, had earlier assaulted him at Shotts Prison in Lanarkshire, Scotland after he refused to take a photograph of a prison officer who he was close to.
Combining boiling water and sugar is known in prison circles as 'napalm'.
The mixture sticks to the skin and intensifies burns, one of the principle effects of jelly-like napalm bombs.
Part of the mixture splashed over OAP killer Kieryn Nesbit, 25, and robber Jamie Higgins, 24, who were sitting eating lunch.
Nesbit punched McManus, who is serving a life sentence for the murder of 51-year-old Isabelle Sanders in Crookston, Glasgow, in April 2014, while Higgins kicked him.
Both men had an extra four months added to their prison sentences after admitting the assault of February this year during an appearance at Hamilton Sheriff Court.

"Security were alerted and all the parties were separated."
McManus was earlier given a 27-month prison sentence for the 'napalm' attack, which left his victim with burns to his face, which will run alongside his life term.
Nesbit is serving a minimum of 18 years for the murder of pensioner, Ronnie Simpson in Armadale, West Lothian, 2012.
He entered the flat of the 67-year-old, who was a complete stranger, and repeatedly punched, kicked and stamped on his head and body.
Higgins is serving a six-year sentence for the violent robbery of an elderly couple at a house in Plains, Lanarkshire, in 2012.
Sentencing Nesbit and Higgins, Sheriff Alasdair MacFadyen, said: "You both have significant criminal records.
"The court accepts there was a substantial degree of provocation and at the earlier stage of the incident you were acting in self-defence but went over the score."
