His moves impressed them so much they invited him to join them on the final of the Turkish version of the long-running talent contest.

Mum Cazzie, from Broomfield in Kent, said: “They were just messing about really, showing each other what they could do.

“Studio 21 told us if they got through to the final they’d like Kavan to come and dance with them.

“I didn’t really think anything of it at the time.”

Then when Cazzie got a call from the break dancing squad with the news she was gobsmacked.

The 48-year-old said: “We were back in England and they said they wanted Kavan to come to the final in two days.

“Luckily his school were really supportive and said we could go.

“I was really proud. He arrived in Istanbul on the Wednesday and they performed on the Thursday morning.

“He’s more a freestyler and not used to learning routines but he picked it up really quickly.

“He’s just brilliant.”

It wasn’t Kavan’s first taste of the limelight.

He’s appeared on Got To Dance twice and starred on Britain’s Got Talent last year.

Cazzie said: “It’s what he does. He’s a little star in the making.

“People ask him for his autograph and he’s freaked out. Even though he dances he’s quite shy.”

Kavan did his first 360 degree head-spin and splits when he was just three years old.

Cazzie said: “I didn’t believe him when he first told me he could do those things. Then he did them.

“He just loves dancing.”

Despite his talent Kavan isn’t sure if he wants to pursue dancing as a career.

Cazzie said: “He changes his mind about what he wants to do every day.

“He’s really good at all sports – rugby and football – he’s good at everything.”

The Turkey’s Got Talent final aired on TV on Wednesday September 28. Tiny dancer Kavan and Studio 21 came fifth.
