Heartbroken OAP, 91, offers up £15,000 reward for return of family’s beloved missing border terrier Flossie
A HEARTBROKEN pensioner is offering a £15,000 reward for finding his family's missing dog.
Jim Scott, 91, is always asking if beloved border terrier cross Flossie, three, is back yet after she vanished ten months ago.
The pet belonged to daughter Gill Keeley and her partner Nick.
Jim, who lives alone, always cherished seeing her.
But Flossie went off the path into the bushes and was never seen again when she was taken out on the sand dunes between Seaton Sluice and Blyth, Northumberland, in September.
Daughter Gill Keeley told the : "The loss of Flossie has broken my dad's heart and he's always asking if she's back yet.
"He used to come round with treats for her and he's absolutely devastated not knowing where she's gone.

"My dad's always has dogs and feels part of his life has been taken away when Flossie went missing."
They have used endoscopes to search rabbit warrens, held night vigils and looked over the sand dunes in the ten months since she disappeared.
A social media appeal was shared by Countdown's Rachel Riley, actress Brenda Blethyn and crime writer Ann Cleeves and has been seen by 1.5million people.
Gill added: "He has been so upset about Flossie's disappearance and recently asked if there was anything he could do to help, which led to the posts.

"He's so thrilled that his appeal has reached 1.5million people, which is 10 times more than any other post we have previously put out, and with the celebrity retweets.
"His love for Flossie seems to have really touched people's hearts."
The family was nine miles from home when Flossie went missing and had driven to the dunes for their walk.
Gill added: "I was in a wheelchair as I had broken my leg a couple of weeks earlier.
"I don't think there has been a single day when someone in this group hasn't been doing something to find Flossie."
