Akron Children’s Hospital on lockdown after girl, 4, and man killed ‘when shooter fired into crowd’
A FOUR-year-old girl and a man have died after someone opened fire into a crowd on Friday night, cops said.
Ohio first responders brought the girl to Akron Children's Hospital, which was placed on lockdown following the shooting, local media reported.

The girl died of a gunshot wound to the head and a 40-year-old man was taken to Akron General Hospital in critical condition where he later died, the newspaper reported.
Police had yet to make an arrest or identify a suspect in the shooting as of early Saturday.
The identity of the little girl and second victim have not yet been released.

Officials said the gunfire was not connected to demonstrations that are taking place in the city.
The demonstrators are protesting the shooting death of Jayland Walker.
Walker, who was said to be unarmed, was shot more than 60 times after a car chase in Akron on June 27, an autopsy revealed.
Cops claimed that the 25-year-old had refused to stop his vehicle and discharged a weapon before he was gunned down.
