Mystery after dad, 57, and his 14-year-old son found dead inside home by boy’s mother
A FATHER and his teenage son were found dead inside a home by the boy's mother on Wednesday, cops said.
The body of Jon Stevenson, 57, was discovered alongside his 14-year-old son, Adam, in the Wedgewood Park neighborhood in Powell, Ohio, around 6.10pm.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office said both had suffered apparent gunshot wounds on the 9200 block of Creighton Drive, according to .
The teen's mom had planned on hearing from her estranged husband's son by 5pm but wasn't contacted so she decided to search for them.
After finding Jon and Adam dead, she called 911 and screamed, "my husband, my son," before explaining how she found both shot dead on the floor, according to The Dispatch.

The case is now being investigated as a homicide-suicide, according to the sheriff's office.
Chief Deputy Jeff Balzer said: "This case is being investigated as a murder-suicide, and initial evidence collected on scene leads us to believe the son shot his father before taking his own life."
An investigation remains underway by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
He added: "This type of loss is a tragedy for a family and their friends to endure, but with two family members — one being a young teen —it borders on unbearable.

“We cannot speculate as to motive, but it is our goal to help bring as many answers to the family’s questions to help them as they grieve and try to make sense of it all."
Court records, obtained by The Dispatch, reveal the dad had been convicted of domestic violence and endangering children in 2016.
However, records show that the incidents did not include his son.
