Heathrow & Stansted Airports fill as travellers face school holiday hell amid Ryanair & EasyJet strikes
MASSIVE queues have filled Heathrow and Stansted Airports today as thousands of Brits attempt to jet off for the weekend.
Holidaymakers are already facing hellish queues, cancelled flights and mountains of lost suitcases - and it's only set to get worse when schools break for summer holidays.
There are triple the number of passengers flying in and out of Britian’s airports this summer compared to last year.
And on top of this Ryanair and easyJet crew members are set to strike.
Shocking photos show huge queues snaking around Heathrow, where yesterday 30 flights were cancelled.
In Stansted travellers were also met with colossal crowds - including at the train station where weary holidaymakers packed the platforms.
More upsetting snaps from Manchester show people being forced to sleep on the terminal floor this morning to catch some rest.
And earlier kids from a primary school were left in tears when they heard their school trip was off after EasyJet cancelled their flights at the last minute.

The return flights from Bristol to The Netherlands were scrapped a week ago leaving the school desperately trying to find alternative last minute travel for the entire Year 6 class.
Broadclyst Primary School in Exeter, Devon was due to take the children on an end-of-school residential between July 11 and July 15.
Parents said everything was booked and paid for months ago and children were devastated when head teacher Jonathan Bishop had to break the sad news that despite trying every possible air, train, coach and ferry alternative it was impossible because of the size of their group.
EasyJet cabin crew have begun nine days' worth of strike action today, with more walkouts planned in Spain throughout July.
It means hundreds of crew members will stop work at easyJet’s bases in Barcelona, Málaga and Palma.
The strikes will consist of three 72-hour stoppages at fortnightly intervals starting from today.
The first of the three strikes will start today and continue until Sunday, July 3.
Following this weekend's action, further strikes will then take place between the 15th and 17th, and finally between the 29th and 31st.
Meanwhile, Ryanair staff in Spain are walking out in a row over pay and working conditions.

Their strikes began yesterday and will last until tomorrow.
This will affect flights at ten bases across Spain - Madrid, Malaga, Barcelona, Alicante, Sevilla, Palma, Valencia, Girona, Santiago de Compostela and Ibiza.
