Motorist makes miraculous escape after crashing £260,000 Lamborghini on motorway

A MOTORIST made miraculous escape after the £260,000 Lamborghini supercar he was driving careered off a motorway into a grass verge.

Firefighters and police rushed to the scene on the M3 in Hampshire to find the luxury yellow car completely wrecked.

However, dramatic photographs show how the bonnet was virtually torn off following the terrifying collision.

A Hampshire Fire spokesman said two engines were sent to the scene on Saturday evening, when weather conditions were particularly poor.

He said: "We got called out at 7.41pm to a crash involving one vehicle on the M3. Nobody was trapped so we made the vehicle safe.

"A Lamborghini had left the road and gone off onto the verge."

Hampshire Police said they had spoken to the driver, and no arrests had been made.
