Michael Jackson’s former security chief blasts Kardashian protection team for leaving star alone
Martial artist Matt Fiddes said when he was working with Michael Jackson such an incident would 'never have happened'
MICHAEL Jackson's former bodyguard has labelled Kim Kardashian's security as a "joke" in the wake of the reality TV star's terrifying armed robbery.
Matt Fiddes, said when he was working with Jackson such an incident would "never have happened" due to his team's stringent protocol.
The martial artist, who guarded Jackson when he visited the UK, told : "The only people to blame are her security team."
Unlike earlier in the week when a Ukranian prankster tried to accost Kim, her personal bodyguard Pascal Duvier was unable to stop the attack.
Matt said: "She is the most high profile female celebrity in the world... She is probably more recognisable than the American president.

"When I was with Michael it just wouldn't have happened. The robbers wouldn't have got past the front door, let alone to her bedroom.

"You just need one nutter to shoot."
More than £8million worth of jewellery is believed to have been nabbed during the attack - including a £5million jewellery box and one ring worth £3.5million.
The ring is understood to have been of a similar value to a 20-carat diamond ring - recently given to her by hubby Kanye West - that she was pictured wearing last night.
Authorities confirmed the reality TV star was unharmed during the "highly-organised" raid on the Rue Tronchet in Paris's Madeleine district.
Sources said the armed men had been let into the building by a concierge who was marched at gunpoint to the star's apartment.
Kim's fans were quick to criticise Duvier in the wake of the robbery - though there were mixed reports about whether he was present and tied up, or not present at all.
