A TEEN boy and a soldier were among at least 10 people killed as gun violence raged across the country during the Juneteenth holiday weekend.

More than 40 people were injured as shootings were reported in Washington DC, Chicago, and Miami.

Five people were left hurt following a drive-by shooting in Florida, while a man was killed at a New York grocery store - just weeks after a teen gunman slaughtered 10 in a Buffalo supermarket.

WASHINGTON DC CONCERT SHOOTING

Cops revealed that a 15-year-old boy had died after being shot at the Moechella music festival.

Robert Contee, the DC Metropolitan Police Chief, said that three people were injured, including a cop.

The concert, described as an “Advocacy Festival Amplifying the Culture of Washington DC”, was celebrating Juneteenth.

Police have since revealed that the event did not have a license.

Footage shared on social media showed people twerking on cars as shots were heard before crowds fled in horror.

Contee revealed that an “incident” occurred at the concert and was broken up.

He said people “started to scatter” when a second incident unfolded, the  reported.

The second incident led to people being trampled on, police said.

Witness Daniel Dyson told WWTG that the boy was screaming out for his mom.

He tried to help the teen who had been shot.

He said: "My mind is blown because, you know, I was trying to cover up this guy.

"And next thing you know, they say he's no longer here."

Cops revealed that multiple weapons were recovered at the scene.

Contee said that crowded streets and too many guns create the conditions for violence to unfold.

Several illegal guns had been seized in DC on Sunday, police revealed.

SOLDIER KILLED

Meanwhile, Sgt. Emmett Moore, 22, was killed by a partygoer at a gathering in Parkland, Washington state on Saturday.

Cops found the soldier with a gunshot wound inside a home.

Moore, originally from Georgia, was stationed at Joint Base Lewis McChord in the state.

Witnesses told that they thought fireworks were going off in the area when they heard a noise.

Sandra Kinney said: “We were having a barbecue, then we heard like three or four [shots] which we thought were fireworks. Then all the cops came.”

Cops revealed that Moore and the suspected shooter were at a party when the shooting erupted.

CHICAGO GUN VIOLENCE

Gun violence continued to rock Chicago as 47 people were targeted.

At least four people were killed while dozens were injured.

A 22-year-old man was shot while sitting in his car,reported.

Cops revealed that a person inside a red car opened fire, hitting the victim in the back.

The man died after being taken to hospital.

Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man was shot dead on a porch in Stony Island Park.

Cops in Englewood found a man, 40, with gunshot wounds to his head and body just after 3:30am on Sunday morning.

Frederica Coleman, 36, was standing on a sidewalk when she was killed on Sunday evening.

She was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

Dozens of people were injured as gun violence raged across the Windy City.

Five people were wounded after being shot in a parking lot in Douglas on Friday night.

A woman, 18, and a 20-year-old man were among the victims.

An 11-year-old girl was shot just after midnight on Monday and minutes later, two teens, aged 16 and 17, were injured, cops said.

A boy was shot in the arm, while a girl suffered a back injury, according to police.

Both victims were taken to the hospital in a “good condition”.

BBQ MASSACRE

Two men, 45 and 46, were killed in a drive-by shooting at a family barbecue in San Antonio, Texas late on June 18.

Cops revealed five others were injured in the shooting, reported.

A vehicle then drove by in a dark-colored SUV and “unloaded on them about 20 to 30 rounds,” said San Antonio Police Department Chief William McManus.

Cops revealed that six kids were at the home at the time of the shooting but none were injured.

MIAMI VIOLENCE

Cops in Miami revealed that five people had been injured in a drive-by shooting early on Sunday morning.

Six people inside a Nissan Altima car were shot at by people in another vehicle, reported.

Five of the six people inside the Nissan were hit but all of those who suffered injuries are expected to recover.

AUSTIN SHOPPING CENTER SHOOTING

Two men and a woman were shot early on Monday morning at a shopping center in north Austin, Texas.

Cops told KXAN that the three victims were taken to local hospitals.

One person is in a serious condition, while the other is said to be critical.

Cops have not taken any suspects into custody.

POUGHKEEPSIE GROCERY STORE SHOOTING

A 27-year-old man died after being shot at a grocery store in Poughkeepsie, New York on Saturday.

Cops found the victim with injuries and he was taken to hospital, the reported.

Meanwhile, two other people were left injured following the shooting.

Cops haven’t released any information about the victims or potential suspects as investigations continue.

JACKSON SHOOTING

Jaden Taylor, 14, and Jamaire Taylor, 18, have been arrested after Hakemia Kelly, 29, was found dead inside a home in Jackson, Mississippi.

Police revealed that Kelly and his fiance had gotten into an argument, reported.

Jaden has been charged with murder, while Jamaire faces a count of being accessory to murder.

Neighbors have been left stunned following the shooting.

Lala Antoine branded Kelly a “good guy” who never caused trouble.

BODY FOUND IN PENNSYLVANIA

A 19-year-old man was found inside a home in Braddock, Pennsylvania just after 1:30pm local time on Sunday.

Cops arrested a suspect, also 19, after receiving reports of a shooting, reported.

A homicide investigation is underway after detectives launched a probe and continue to comb the scene for clues.

Witnesses with information that could help officers are urged to contact Allegheny County police.

The bloodbath comes just days after dozens of shootings were reported in Chicago.
