Boy, 17, stabbed to death in broad daylight attack in London as seven people knifed in capital in 24 hours

A TEENAGER has been stabbed to death in a broad daylight horror attack.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed a 17-year-old man died from his injuries after the knifing in Tottenham, North London, on Saturday.

The Met Police said: “Police were called at 12.10pm on Saturday, June 18, to reports of a male stabbed in Orchard Place, N17.

"Officers attended the location and administered first aid.

"Despite their best efforts, and those of ambulance colleagues, the 17-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene…

“An urgent investigation is under way.

"Two males have been arrested in connection with the incident and both have been taken into police custody.”

Officers are in the process of informing next of kin and the boy’s family will be supported by specialist police officers.

It comes as seven people have been knifed after a bloodbath 24-hours erupted in London.

The first incident took place yesterday in Bromley, south London, at around 2pm on Friday.

A man in his 20s was found with multiple stab wounds following a callout to emergency services and he was rushed to hospital by air ambulance.

No arrests have been made in relation to this attack.

Two teens, 17 and 18, were also rushed to hospital on Friday evening following a fight at Hampstead Heath.

Both had been stabbed but no arrests have been made, Express.co.uk reported.

Later on a 16-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment after he was stabbed in Crystal Palace Parade, south London.

Two other people were stabbed in the last 24-hours.

Six of those attacked received non-fatal wounds.

The stabbing wave prompted cops to issue two Section 60s which give officers increased powers to stop and search anyone in a particular area.
