The attack happen on 4 August last year.

Catchpole met Deferia's daughter, Rebecca while she was studying at university.

He told the trial that Deferia had "struggled to let her go.

"They were always a big part of her life."

Cops were able to identify Deferia as a suspect by analysing his mobile phone. Details from the gadget helped officers establish a connection with other suspects who Deferia had paid to carry out the attack.

Hitmen Simon Webber, 32, Frank Warren, 52, and Andrew Seaton, 40, each got 23 years.

Go-between Paul Baker, 35, got 17 years.
